The DPROA board worked alongside Representatives Yvonne Davis and Nathan Johnson on HB 3375 that corrects an inequity in the law which prohibited spouses or other beneficiaries of DROP Annuities from seeking emergency distributions. DPROA President David Elliston sent letters of appreciation to both representatives. In those letters, he also included information regarding the ongoing issues with the Dallas Police & Fire Pension, stating that the fund “is still in peril.” You can read both letters in their entirety here and here.
