The members of our association are not just the men and women who served on the front lines in the City of Dallas to keep that community safe. We are your neighbors. Many of us live in Hunt, Van Zandt and Hopkins County.
Dan Flynn has lost touch with us. He refused our requests for help to protect the rights and benefits of retirees under Article XVI Section 66 of the Texas Constitution, and he worked with the Democratic Mayor of Dallas and Senator Royce West to craft legislation that would seize the personal Deferred Retirement Option Plan savings of police and fire retirees.
Bryan Slaton is someone who we believe will truly represent House District 2. He will listen to his constituents and will always prioritize keeping the promises made to the men and women on the frontlines of law enforcement.
