DPROA President David Elliston is encouraging members to “attend” the Dallas Police and Fire Pension meeting on Thursday, May 14, 2020, via Zoom. To participate:
Go to the DPFP pension site, by clicking HERE.
Place your cursor on “Board” and click on “Board Meeting Agendas.”
You will see agendas for the Public, Regular, and Supplemental meetings. When you click on the public meeting tab, the agenda will open up along with instructions on how to login to Zoom or call in to listen to the audio.
If you login to Zoom, you can actually participate by asking questions or making comments. Elliston said he intends to login to Zoom so he can participate.
“I also expect they will be measuring retirees’ level of interest by the number who login,” he said. “This will be a great opportunity for our fellow retirees who live outside of the metroplex to watch a DPFP Board meeting. Looking at the agenda; there will be several items of interest.”
