Hello DPROA members,
Here you can read the letter that I sent to the Commissioner of the IRS requesting they review the actions and operation of the Dallas Police and Fire Pension System. It is our contention that the State of Texas in concurrence with the DP&FPS through HB-3158 took action that is illegal under Federal law and contrary to IRS rules and regulations. I will keep you informed of any responses I may receive regarding this request.
